Movenpick opened its first resort in Phu Quoc Island
Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has opened a new property in Vietnam’s premier island destination Phu Quoc. Located by the Ong Lang beach, a 35-minute transfer from Phu Quoc International Airport, Mövenpick Resort Waverly Phu Quoc features 305 guestrooms while the adjacent Mövenpick Residences Phu Quoc offers 329 apartment-style residences and 79 pool villas. Rooms range from a 35 sqm to an expansive 72 sqm for a Junior suite.
Mövenpick Residences Phu Quoc offers studios and family rooms, each equipped with a kitchenette. The resort complex also houses 66 two-bedroom and three-bedroom pool villas; 12 three-bedroom pool villas and the Presidential villa.
F&B offerings include a lively club perched on the beach. The Aura Beach Club is equipped with a pool bar and an Asian Tapas menu complemented by live entertainment. Other culinary delights at the hotel are international cuisine and alive cooking station at The Islander Restaurant; Vietnamese dishes and seafood at Lang Chai; local craft beer at Lang Chai Bar; and Vietnamese tea, coffee and chocolate at Waverly Lounge.
Meetings and social gatherings can be held at the 720 sqm Coral Ballroom with a large 324 sqm foyer that can host up to 860 guests. The ballroom can also be divided into four meeting rooms for intimate gatherings.
