Day 1: Hanoi - Halong International Cruise Port - Bai Tu Long Bay (L/D)

08.00 Depart from Hanoi to Halong Bay by comfortable shuttle bus (optional)

12.00 Upon arrival at Emperor Cruises, located at Halong International Cruise Port, our team will welcome you in our lounge before boarding.

12.30 Our Experiences Manager will assist you with boarding to start cruising in Bai Tu Long Bay. Check in to your cabin as we set sail from Vinashin dock to cruise among the many beautiful islets (scenes from the film ‘Indochine’ were filmed here). Bai Tu Long Bay has a wild beauty and the panoramas from the boat are unforgettable.

13.00 A set menu lunch will be served at our Can Chanh Restaurant on the main deck. Savor delicious Vietnamese food while admiring the grace of the bay.

14.30 Explore the area of Hon Co Island and Co Cave (Grass Cave, also known as Thien Canh Son). You can revel in the breathtaking view of Bai Tu Long bay from up high, as well as the glorious long white-sand beach of Hon Co Island. Afterwards relax on the beach, go swimming in the crystal-clear water and explore the cave.

16.30 Return to the cruise by small boat 17.00: Choose from kayaking, taking massage or just relaxing, do nothing or watching the sky color change as the sun sets.

18.00 Attend tea demonstration

18.30-19.00 Attend our chef’s cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking (making spring rolls) in a truly stunning setting.

19.30 Enjoy our a la carte course menu for dinner on board as you experience the charm of Bai Tu Long Bay at night.

21.00 Evening activities: enjoy our Movie Night, Board Games or our Massage and Spa services or even go squid fishing.

Day 2: Cong Dam (Hon Xep Natural Park) - Thay Cave (B/L/D)

This day is for 2-night cruise only. Please skip it if you wish to book 1-night cruise.

06.00 Wake up to the gentle lapping of the water against the boat and as the first rays of the sun announce a new day. Before enjoying breakfast have cookies and tea and then try the Vovinam session on the sundeck as the sun rises over Bai Tu Long Bay

06.45 Have light breakfast with milk, bread, cereals, fruit juice, yohurt, cookies, tea & coffee. Catch the morning view of seascape while enjoying the breakfast in the restaurant.

08.30-09.00 Transfer to Day small Boat and start cruising to admire the widest beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay.

10.00-11.00 Kayak and discover Thay Cave – one of the most large & well-hidden cave in Bai Tu Long Bay.

11.00-12.00 Visit Cong Dam Area- Hon Xep Nature Park – Deep into Bai Tu Long Bay, the famous hidden lagoons covered by majestic limestone islands and islets with wild beaches

12.00-15.00 Enjoy the lunch in the restaurant on day boat

15.00-15.30 Transfer from Day Boat back to main boat – Emperor Cruises boat

Day 3: Thien Canh Son Cave - Disembarkation - Departure (B/Brunch)

07.15-07.30 Visit Vung Vieng fishing village, the famous pearl-growing village, to view the fishing tanks of the local people. Proceed to Vung Vieng floating village to board bamboo boats so the locals can row you around their village and oyster pearl farming plots. Return to the mother boat by speedboat/tender

08.30 Return to the cruise by tender

09.30 Arrange the luggage and check out.

09.45-10.30 Enjoy brunch on board while cruising back to the mainland.

11.00 Arrive back at Emperor Cruises dock, Halong City for disembarkation where your driver waits to take you back to Hanoi or the airport for your onward journey or home.

PAYMENTS

A deposit of 30% of the total booking is required within three days from the date of confirmation. The balance payment is due at 45 days prior to embarkation date. For bookings made less than 45 days, full payment is required. Bookings will be cancelled if payments are not received by the due date(s).

Payment can be made via bank transfer or credit cards. In addition to the total payable amount, credit card payments will incur a merchant fee of 2.5% for MasterCard and Visa, 3% for American Express. Any bank charges and merchant fees must be covered by the customer.

CANCELLATIONS

Confirmed bookings must be cancelled by the party leader in writing (by email) and this will only be effective once the written cancellation is confirmed by FantaSea Vietnam. Cancellation by the party leader will be subject to the following cancellation fees from the date the written cancellation is received:

+ more than 45 days prior to embarkation date - 10% of total cost

+ between 31 and 45 days prior to embarkation date - 25% of total cost

+ between 16 and 30 days prior to embarkation date - 50% of total cost

+ within 15 days prior to embarkation date or “no show” - 100% of total cost.

AMENDMENTS

Any amendments to confirmed bookings must be requested by the party leader in writing (by email). Whilst we will endeavor to assist, we cannot guarantee that requests will be met. If we can make the requested change, you will be provided with a quote detailing any additional costs, whether incurred due to your amendments, imposed by a Third-Party Travel Provider, or our amendment fees. In all cases, the following amendment fees shall apply:

+ If amendments are made more than 45 days prior to embarkation date: the first amendment is free of charge. From the second amendment: a charge of U$30 per amendment.

+ If amendments are made within 45 days prior to embarkation date: the above standard cancellation fees will apply, and full price will apply to new travel arrangements.

We will not charge any cancellation/amendment fees if it is due to a breach by us of any of our obligations or due to our fault; or if the Third-Party Travel Provider amends your booking through no fault of the customer.
