Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay (L/D)

09:15 Depart from you hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter to Tuan Chau International Marina, Halong City.

12:15 Board the Heritage and enjoy a welcome drink as you receive a cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in to your suite. Lunch is served at L’Indochine Restaurant.

12:40 Cruise to Da Chong islet, where you can see a heritage lighthouse built by the French more than 100 years ago. After lunch, cruise to Gia Luan Lagoon where limestone karst formations rise out of the sea. This quiet bay is untouched and remote, as not many cruise ships visit.

15:00 The cruise vessel approaches the Ba Trai Dao or Three Peach beaches in Lan Ha Bay, a natural frontier between the provinces of Halong and Haiphong. This secret hideaway has beaches, caves and coves, plus the spectacular natural beauty of about 400 islands. Spend time kayaking or swimming in the clear waters of the bay.

17:30 Back to the Heritage. Enjoy afternoon tea and wine tasting or participate in a Vietnamese cookery class.

19:30 A memorable dining experience will be offered at the restaurant.

21:30 Enjoy evening views of the bay at the bar on the top deck. Try your hand squid fishing, or watch a movie in the restaurant. The bars are open until late.

Day 2: Cat Ba Island - Bai Tu Long Bay (B/L/D)

This day is for two-night cruise only.

06:00 Practise Vovinam on the sundeck at sunrise, followed by coffee, tea and pastries.

08:30 Transfer by speedboat to Cat Ba Island. Take a bicycle ride to Viet Hai Village located in a valley within Cat Ba National Park. Surrounded by limestone mountains and lush forests, the village is home to about 80 households. Take a closer look into their daily life and enjoy lunch in the village. Back to the speedboat to cruise further to Bai Tu Long Bay.

13:30 Time for kayaking or swimming at Ba Ham Lake, enclosed by vertical cliffs (weather permitting).

16:00 Return to the Heritage. Join a traditional cookery class. Watch another sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin while sipping cocktails, beer or fine wine.

19:30 Enjoy a fine-dining experience in the restaurant.

21:30 Welcome the night at the bar on the top deck, or try squid fishing or watch a movie under the stars.

Day 3: Halong Bay - Disembarkation - Departure (B/Brunch)

06:00 Start the day with a session of Vovinam on the sundeck, followed by a light breakfast.

07:30 Explore the Dark and Bright Cave by bamboo boats.

09:30 Return to the Heritage for checkout.

10:00 Enjoy brunch while cruising back to harbour.

11:35 Return to Tuan Chau International Marina and disembark.

12:00 Departure to your next destination.

PAYMENTS

A deposit of 30% of the total booking is required within three days from the date of confirmation. The balance payment is due at 45 days prior to embarkation date. For bookings made less than 45 days, full payment is required. Bookings will be cancelled if payments are not received by the due date(s).

Payment can be made via bank transfer or credit cards. In addition to the total payable amount, credit card payments will incur a merchant fee of 2.5% for MasterCard and Visa, 3% for American Express. Any bank charges and merchant fees must be covered by the customer.

CANCELLATIONS

Confirmed bookings must be cancelled by the party leader in writing (by email) and this will only be effective once the written cancellation is confirmed by FantaSea Vietnam. Cancellation by the party leader will be subject to the following cancellation fees from the date the written cancellation is received:

+ more than 45 days prior to embarkation date - 10% of total cost

+ between 31 and 45 days prior to embarkation date - 25% of total cost

+ between 16 and 30 days prior to embarkation date - 50% of total cost

+ within 15 days prior to embarkation date or “no show” - 100% of total cost.

AMENDMENTS

Any amendments to confirmed bookings must be requested by the party leader in writing (by email). Whilst we will endeavor to assist, we cannot guarantee that requests will be met. If we can make the requested change, you will be provided with a quote detailing any additional costs, whether incurred due to your amendments, imposed by a Third-Party Travel Provider, or our amendment fees. In all cases, the following amendment fees shall apply:

+ If amendments are made more than 45 days prior to embarkation date: the first amendment is free of charge. From the second amendment: a charge of U$30 per amendment.

+ If amendments are made within 45 days prior to embarkation date: the above standard cancellation fees will apply, and full price will apply to new travel arrangements.

We will not charge any cancellation/amendment fees if it is due to a breach by us of any of our obligations or due to our fault; or if the Third-Party Travel Provider amends your booking through no fault of the customer.
