Highlights
Billed as Vietnam’s first beachfront integrated luxury resort, Intercontinental Grand Ho Tram certainly aims to live up to its name in both size and decadence. Set on a long stretch of isolated beach two hours southeast of Ho Chi Minh City (a complimentary shuttle that makes the trip multiple times a day), the hotel promises non-stop entertainment with a casino, a championship golf course, three swimming pools, 11 food and beverage outlets, a night club and more. With its unique beach/casino feel, Ho Tram gives off a Vegas-meets-Honolulu vibe, where glitz and glamour pervade in a low-key, laid-back atmosphere. It’s the ideal backdrop for a Vietnamese-style Ocean’s Eleven movie recently filmed there. Throw in the occasional cameos by world-class golfers like Greg Norman (who designed the adjacent golf course) and local celebrities with Vietnamese supermodels, singers and entertainers and you’ve got a party.
